Pictures in motion

I’ve been working on a video, the first one I’ve ever made, and it turned out great.

I’ve been kinda challenged, and the bet was to make a video, with both pictures and videos from the icelandic journey.

I didn’t know nothing about video editing, and so I did dive into photoshop. The software itself is kinda good, you have almost the same interface of after effects and similar suites for video editing (i.e. very intuitive). Of course, the capabilities are limited since photoshop is mostly for pictures ( and in my case, these were mostly limited by the pc going lava after the first day of editing).

Not to be tedious, here’s the video!

After all of this, I must say that it was fun, struggling for the making and then finally enjoying it, with all the memories flashing back is a great feeling. I can still taste the food by looking at the pictures, hear the sterns screaming, feel the wind, moist, rain and above all of these, be speechless staring at this beauty.

Since this update is in need of a proper cover, I’ll use another of my favs from the trip. This was shot near Arnarstapi, on the landside of the cliffs. This type of moss is soft like a cushion, and it’s spreaded all over the volcanic fields. These two little branches were sprouting in the middle of nothing, and it was just as if they were fighting for it, emerging from the rocks and moss, looking for something else. It was perfect.

Yes, it still have the “old” signature.
But hey, I made a hell of a video!
